Open to anyone who plays
The Library
The Library is a set of plain guides for golfers who want to play better, understand how clubs work and arrive knowing the codes. Each page says where its facts came from and when they were read. Where we could not verify a figure, we say "see official site".
Elected Golf is not affiliated with any club or governing body and cannot secure admission anywhere.

How we write
- Answer first. Each page opens with the answer.
- Dated and sourced. Every figure carries its source and the date it was read.
- Paraphrased Rules. We paraphrase the Rules of Golf (The R&A and the USGA) and link to the full text on The R&A's site.
- No guesses. A fewer-rows ledger is better than an invented one.

What the Library is not
- We are not affiliated with any club and cannot secure admission.
- We issue no handicap. Your numbers here are an unofficial Playing Record.
- Fees and rules change; each figure here carries the date it was read and a link to where it was published.
